I led the planning, creation, and development of a statewide web overhaul for Kentucky's largest postsecondary education provider, Starting from scratch, I led the development of a business case to radically alter the organization's web strategy and resource allocation. My team and I laid the engagement groundwork to secure statewide buy-in, then developed the technical infrastructure, governance model, personnel structures, design, and content to support the simultaneous implementation of a statewide web content management model and 10,000-employee SharePoint intranet. The results were an astronomical increase in traffic and user evaluations, in addition to a model that has been sustained to this day. I served as the lead developer and technology advisor for an internet start-up company founded by one of Lexington’s most-respected ad agencies. I created a custom web site builder/content management system to start a new agency revenue stream, and worked with agency staff and clients in all phases of web and traditional marketing campaigns.

I built and managed the web and technology infrastructure for a national sustainability non-profit while contributing in several other areas including strategy development, copywriting/editing, and donor relations.

squareFish was Kentucky's leading web development firm early in the '00s, and was a subsidiary of QX.net, Kentucky's largest local ISP.

Mikrotec was one of Kentucky's largest early Internet Service Providers. Under my leadership, the web development division achieved and sustained profitability for the first time. I developed strategy, directed staff, led sales, managed national accounts, and oversaw all aspects of the business.
