Headed the Propositions and Pre-Sales function for DST International across EMEA. I was responsible for creating incisive and targeted propositions using current DST capabilities to financial services market. I led the pre-sales Organisation via focused and value-based frameworks that mapped investment to appropriate propositions. This involved designing full end to end solutions (BPO, Software and Hybrid) with Bluedoor, Percana, DST Digital Solutions and Applied Analytics functions to provide propositions into the L&P and Wealth markets.

I was head of Pre-Sales within the Retirement and Insurance Division overseeing a number of large opportunities. Responsibilities included devising a pre-sales methodology, reviewing bids and providing direction and leadership in customer engagements both during formal bid stages and supporting the Sales Organisation in developing opportunities

Led solution definition across bids, secured BU approvals and oversaw design leadership through transition into business as usual operations. I directed a large number of SI resources across complex government procurement that digitalised operations and delivered a customer-centric solution which reduced costs by 30%. I also oversaw a £MM major Airport bid and directed a major SAP implementation at a major UK charity organisation.

Contracted to lead Wealth Management IT platform review that enhanced compliance controls.

Whilst at DIligenta I had the following responsibilities -:Reported to the Business Development Director (Board Member) with responsibility for carrying out Due Diligence, from an IT perspective, on all commercial propositions.Managed a team of Subject Matter Experts and defined high level technical blueprints for infrastructure, application and enterprise requirements for commercial propositions of between £100 - £700m.Defined and authored the IT proposition enabling Diligenta to make credible BPO offerings to the UK L&P market.

In doing so I seek to find the solution characteristics that will differentiate the CSC offering while balancing this with our delivery capability and managing and containing the risk. This usually requires that I work with a number of SME’s. Business Strategy Development I have responsibility for leading the definition of business issues, both internal and for clients. This involves the use of my knowledge in Financial services (Life and Pensions) to determine problems and the solutions to resolve these problems. This can make use of my knowledge in Six Sigma (DMAIC). This typically involves me in a leadership role to facilitate and manage the process.Project / Programme Management I run particular projects that are either seen as important accounts or that are having issues associated with them.
