Overall responsibility for Audit coverage for the Northern Region including Ireland, a total of 213 stores achieving the best regional audit results two years running including an overall 8% loss reduction, a 2.95% stock accuracy improvement and a saving of over £200k loss with odd stock.• Manage the audit team to ensure audits were completed in a timely manner, resulting in the highest overall audit coverage in the company.• Take a risk based approach with the deployment of team resources.• Full responsibility for maintaining complete, accurate records of actual stocks held and owned. • Ensuring a robust set of processes are in place for the prevention, detection & reporting of fraud, theft and malpractice around stock, sales refunds and cash handling within the region resulting in the successful detection & prosecution of fraud resulting in the recovery of £37k.• To develop a high performing team through coaching & development.• Arrange & present Admin and Security training courses to stores throughout the region.

BRANCH MANAGERManaged several different stores throughout North Wales and Cheshire. Achieving excellent KPI results in every store resulting in improved profitability. Working closely with senior management to ensure best practices were effective at area level. Responsible for the area payroll control, area compliance for administration and inplimentation of the new EPOS systems. • Promoted to Branch Manager in Chester City Centre – Turnover of £2.4 Million with a team of 50 over two floors. Drove a 3.5% sales increase and an 8% improvement in profit through excellent cost control.• Previously managing 5 stores – growing sales from 200k to 680k in the Llandudno branch, achieving the highest £ per square foot in the country.• As area specialist a significant payroll saving in excess of £70k was achieved along with playing a major role in developing the EPOS payroll system currently used saving hundreds of hours each month. As area admin specialist the first “A” grades in the company were gained. Played a key role as part of the regions store refit team.
