Philip Corper is an energetic senior management consultant, banker and payments expert with over 30 years of experience leading major projects for PricewaterhouseCoopers, USAID, UK FCO, FCDO and DfID and other international consultancy and development organizations. A specialist in retail banking and payments, he managed the implementation of the national switch and mobile payment system for Iraq while working for the USAID Iraq Financial Development Project. Whilst working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, he developed the strategies for Saudi Arabia's migration to EMV smart cards and to set up the national switch. Philip has consistently led innovation in financial services. He was an early champion of e-business and a Global Thought Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers, setting up its UK financial services e-business incubator, led projects to found 3 e-banks and set up Headstrong's Digital Strategy business. He founded West Wales Consulting which delivers financial inclusion, microfinance and MSME support projects.Strong project management skills are demonstrated in all of Philip’s work to deliver large, complex, multi-participant, technology-based, agile projects in the public eye to time, quality and budget.
