Managed over 5,000 information technology professionals for the Investment Banking Division (IBD). Was responsible for an annual global budget of $1.5 billion.Member of the IBD Executive Committee. Worked closely with the CEO and COO office to synchronize the IT strategy with the business plan. Hired a global senior management team.Collaborated with the business and led the IT group in the design and implementation of the firm's modern global trading platforms. Focused on low latency and efficient execution techniques.

Managed the Trading IT groups. Worked closely with the OTC and Block desks to develop a fully electronic trading capability for the desks. Replaced manual procedures with systemic solutions. Worked with the Derivative team to automate a number of the Listed and OTC processes. Reviewed and analyzed in detail the business process, worked with operations and back office functions to determine best practice solution for the business. Replaced an antiquated architecture based on main frame technology with modernized client/server architecture.

Managed the Equity Research IT group. Worked with the research division analysts and management to design and develop the authoring/publishing functionality. Hired a senior IT team to support the business in its goal to become the number one research house on Wall Street. Attended the Research Group management committee.
