As an Assistant Professor in the MS in Project Management program, I am committed to helping learners succeed and contributing to the university’s growth through innovative educational leadership and program development. This GS-13 equivalent position advised senior management regarding the best course of action for financial, human capital, real estate, and other matters. Authored and reviewed decision documents (e.g. “business cases”) on a variety of issues for Service Center Directors and other sponsors using technically sound analytical practices. Performed analysis and provided recommendations for programs and projects ranging from single teams to national and international operations and agreements. Some specific duties and related outcomes include:• Slashed duplication of effort by $13.3M for 410 known cases by aligning complex navigation system portfolio analysis process with agency’s non-rulemaking regulatory processes.• Developed economic comparison model for recruitment and retention purposes, and applied model to identify more than $400K in recurring financial benefits previously ignored or avoided as "intangible" in association with potential facility move. Method and model can be applied to any future relocation decision.• To help determine most effective means to staff management positions in air traffic control towers, adapted managerial effectiveness and benefit model based on academic literature to qualify benefits over 20 years, saving agency $11.4M while enhancing overall facility effectiveness.

This GS-12 equivalent position provided a wide range of analytical duties related to the conduct of projects and programs, process validation, and business management and control. Regularly provided advice, guidance, and analysis in the planning and execution of management objectives connected with the strategic plans. Some specific duties and related outcomes include:• Developed and implemented requirements processing metrics, enabling managers to objectively evaluate and improve team performance for first time.• In light of critical failures to properly prioritize projects, worked with agency-spanning stakeholder group to draft and publish project screening and prioritization guidance for nationwide air traffic facility projects.

This GS-12 equivalent position maintained critical systems and facilities (operational and administrative) at DenverInternational Airport and surrounding airports. Performed and documented corrective and preventative maintenance actions in accordance with agency and statutory regulation. Additionally, assisted other technicians in the accomplishment of maintenance and related duties.
