About Philip Monaghan

I’m currently the radio advertising Traffic coordinator for IRS+ overseeing advertising spot placement and precision across our 15 station network. I service agency clients directly and independently while also providing support to our team of marketing and sales professionals. Leaning on my previous experience in the financial sector I also operate the daily accounts receivable and payable functions for IRS+. Over the last number of years, being keen to ever expand my skill set and set new challenges for myself, I oversaw the creation of IRS+'s digital network. In this capacity I provided consultation and support to individual websites joining our network in order to monetise and maximise their digital real estate. This has been an ongoing process and as our digital network solidifies and expands further I look forward to delving deeper into this element of my job. Before joining IRS+ I worked in a number of financial sector jobs ranging from publishing daily trading NAV's for the Irish Stock Exchange to investment fund cash management for The Man Investment Group's European operations. I thoroughly enjoy the fast paced variety in IRS+ and the advertising industry in general as well as the freedom to grow and discover the new and as yet unexplored aspects of the ever changing industry demands. I have a MA in Literature and Philosophy from UCD and a BA in Literature from ACD. Currently I am undertaking a diploma in Digital Marketing.
