Database Developer and Administrator primarily supporting the needs of the response department - both call centre and administration; in advising on and building bespoke Applicant Tracking Systems. Technologies used were SQL2000, MS Access 2000 , VBA.

Same responsibilities as in Bartlett Scott Edgar. It may come as no surprise that Scott Edgar was bought by Bartlet Merton and became the larger Bartlett Scot Edgar just months after I has joined. I was responsible for shifting and integrating the entire response teams databases and processes from our initial location in Farringdon to our new offices in Moorgate.

My official role was that of Call centre operator providing guidance on mortgage industry terminology and products to users of the newly launched mortgage finder website, however I also developed the departmental database that captured details of each of the incoming calls as well as producing management reports. This represented my introduction into the world of database design.

I started off life at Tibbett and Britten Northfleet depot as a transport clerk responsible for the planning and despatching of food deliveries for the Sainsbury contract. I was promoted to the position of Acting first line mangager after 1 year.
