Philip started his career with Taylor Woodrow International as a trainee surveyor, at first working on major infrastructure projects with secondments to Kano, Nigeria and Port of Spain, Trinidad. Philip went on to gain broader construction experience with Fanshawe, a firm of Chartered Surveyors and another brief spell at a specialist firm before joining.
