I am a Plant Operator at Cenovus Energy, where I oversee a plant with a production rate of 60,000 barrels of oil per day. Alongside a team of skilled power engineers, I ensure safe and efficient operations by performing daily pump and water rounds, water tests, boiler start-ups and shut-downs, pump and exchanger swaps, LOTOs, and light maintenance and adjustments to processes.I hold a College Diploma in Power Engineering Technology from SAIT, where I learned the fundamentals of power engineering, steam generation, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics. I also gained valuable hands-on experience as a Student Power Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited and Capital Power, working at a SAGD plant and a coal-fired power plant, respectively. I am a certified 3rd Class Power Engineer with H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation, and Standard First Aid, CPR and AED certifications. I am flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills and technologies in the power engineering field.
