I'm an engineering graduate with 30 years experience in IT and Telecoms. Ten of those years 1995-2005 were spent in Tecnomen covering business development in voicemail/wireless email business lines including 2 years as head of sales UK and Ireland. I was part of the startup team for the Tecnomen Multimedia Messaging Centre (MMSC) business in 2002 and moved to the Prepaid business unit as Director in '04. I have extensive international sales and pre-sales technical consulting experience covering the European, Middle East/Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin American markets. I Founded ParkMagic with my business partner in June '05 and launched our first parking payment product in Ireland in July '05 (see https://www.parkmagic.ie). ParkMagic operates in the cashless parking Payment, Road toll payment and parking reservation payment areas.ParkMagic is in widespread use for cashless parking payment today in both on and off street environments and has built a subscriber base of ~300,000 users across twelve local authorities in Ireland. I led the team that developed, implemented and launched Tolltag.ie in 2008 a national road toll payment service that today supports almost 100,000 users nationwide.
