I have worked as a mechanical engineer for over 17 years, i started my career within a family run business,our core business was service engineers to the blow molding and injection molding sector. But we also worked with customers in a wide range of manufacturing sectors such as pharmaceutical,food,re-cycling.I have worked in workshop based roles where i have organised the repair of machine parts for customers , which involves disassembly,assessment,pricing and bespoke solutions to suite the customers needs.I have also done extensive site work, working in a small team where we would plan essential maintenance work that needed completing within a certain time frame to limit the amount of downtime to production. During my years as an engineer i have worked on a wide range of automated machinery such as conveyor systems,packaging machinery,shredders,granulators,material feed systems,blow moulding machinery,injection moulding machinery,cnc lathes and milling machines just to name a few. I have also been involved with machinery installation, installing all necessary services such as compressed air pipework,electrical distribution boards, water pipework, machine assembly and assembly of ancillary equipment. Going forward i would like to get involved with project work as i do really enjoy this type of work, i am a hard working proactive individual, and can work well on my own or integrated into a team.
