About Phil Hill

Co-founded an educational startup to expand access to STE(A)M in the classroom. My experience spans 25 years of technology, education, and nonprofit leadership. I have co-founded and exited multiple technology start-ups and overseen award-winning social innovation projects. I believe in using evidence and reason to determine how to benefit people, communities, and societies. I'm enthusiastic about trying to make the system work better for everyone. This started 30 years ago when I arrived in the US with a backpack and $267. I've seen a career in tech and a life spent looking to create a positive social impact. In 2022, I stepped down from running a sport for social change organization after a 23-year journey. We won many accolades, including the Beyond Sports global award for sports innovation. I want to see a more entrepreneurial approach to fixing social issues. We need more innovation to disrupt things and create fairer opportunities.
