About Philip Hinz

After college, I started my professional career in the hospitality industry. The Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, TX was nearing completion, and I joined as part of the opening team. My 10 year adventure in that hotel perfected my customer service and event management skills as I navigated through Front Desk, Group Housing, and Conference Services.At the end of the 10 years, it was time for a change! Through mutual acquaintances, I learned of a position at a school software company, RenWeb - now part of the FACTS family. I decided to take the plunge and have enjoyed every minute of learning the world and business of technology! As a seasoned Product Owner, Scrum Master, and IT Technical Analyst, I have extensive experience in leading Agile teams, managing product development, and ensuring successful product launches. My expertise in translating business needs into product features and coordinating with onshore and offshore teams has resulted in consistently meeting revenue targets and driving significant client portfolio expansion.Throughout my career, I have developed effective relationships with various stakeholder groups, including internal departments, business leadership, clients, and third-party partners. I am passionate about leveraging my skills to drive innovative solutions and maximize customer value.Outside of work, I love visiting new places (India is my favorite) and enjoying new restaurants. Plus, I have the joy and chaos of watching over 2 miniature schnauzers, 1 boxer-dachshund mix, and a full-energy 15 month old mixed-breed puppy.
