As part of MSc Data Analytics Dissertation, a mixed methods impact assessment was created while working for ORE Catapult. The assessment evaluated the impact of ORE Catapult's commercialisation support on SMEs using a three-part approach:1. Large-scale financial data on every supported SME was visualised in PowerBI and compared to a control group to assess impact.2. Survey data collected on SMEs currently undergoing support allowed evaluation of short-term and non-financial impacts.3. Machine learning and rule-based market segmentation analysis was used to identify SMEs with desirable qualities for commercialisation support.
