As an entertainment marketing executive, I’ve excelled by melding together my passion and expertise in the music industry with a lifelong love of sports. During my career, I’ve delivered wins such as overseeing the creation of NASCAR’s theme song, developing the first-ever mid-race concert, growing NASCAR into a premiere destination for entertainment industry promotions, and spearheading NASCAR’s embrace of diverse musical genres.     I maintained similar responsibilities in this position from my prior role, with some added duties and an increased focus on social media, digital, and O&O channel initiatives.Highlights include:☑ I created the concept and directed the Social Media department in producing spots that utilized music, securing free artist support as a result. To optimize the budget for this specific initiative, I reimagined the licensing process and leaned heavily on relationships I had previously built.✔ As a result, we gained over 100 million in engagement by licensing music and capturing support from artists covering multiple genres of music; these artists included Guns N Roses, Coldplay, and Muse.✔ Our greatest success in this respect came via a video for “My Old Man” from the Zac Brown Band, as it became the most-viewed video in the history of NASCAR on Facebook (30 million views in 5 days). ☑ I leveraged relationships to create win-win cross-promotional content, continuing this work in my subsequent and current position.     This position had a heavy talent acquisition and management component to it, as we sought to bring in celebrities and influencers who were not typically associated with NASCAR. Highlights include:☑ Served as the Talent Executive for all NASCAR Awards shows, including the integration of entertainment, celebrity, and musical talent. I brought in established personalities to host (Jay Mohr, Howie Mandel, Drew Carey, David Spade, Reba McEntire), celebrity presenters (Tom Cruise, Guy Fieri, Alyssa Milano, Luke Wilson), and top musical performers (Sting, Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Maren Morris , Lady Antebellum). I have maintained this role to the present day.✔ Overcame several challenges to achieve success for these shows, primarily in attracting and securing talent (I used a focus on the interests and “causes” of these individuals to gain their interest and participation). This achievement extends all the way to my present-day position.☑ Continuing this effort from my prior position, I built a robust program that secured A-list talent and generated millions in earned media dollars.
