Hello, I am Philip F. Jorgu. I earned my B.Sc. in Mass Communication from the University of Liberia in 1988 and Masters in English Language and literature from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC. I did further graduate studies at the Queens University and the University of North Carolina both in Charlotte, North Carolina. I began my teaching profession in 1989 as Teaching Assistant at my alma mater, University of Liberia. I continued my profession in the earlier nineteen-nineties bringing cultural and educational experiences across cultural boundaries to classrooms in this country that I was privileged to impact valuable knowledge and experiences to students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Impacting these valuable experiences along with computer skills, has been my greatest assist to these classrooms. My greatest joy, in all these learning environments, is seeing the smile on the faces of these young students that are yet to blossom in their career. As the result, I have impacted knowledge to over 10, 000 lives during my 28 or more years in the teaching profession. While I would prefer securing a job in the teaching profession, I will gladly accept any profession that will be commensurate with my education and cultural experiences. Even though my education and overall experiences will make me a better candidate for any profession, I will be willing to undergo refresher course that will be required to make me a suitable candidate for any position that you may want to offer.
