I like to solve problems. I also like good design. Working as an Architectural Technologist I am lucky enough to get to do two things that I enjoy on a regular basis. Good technical design doesn't need to come at the expense of the architects design intent, and that's why my focus is always on delivering good practical design solutions for the projects I work on.I have experience in both private and publicly funded projects including small & large scale residential projects, nursing homes, apartment schemes and offices. I have also worked on a number of one-off private residential houses and extensions.Having worked on projects at all stages from inception to completion, I have developed a good working knowledge of industry standards, guidelines and regulations. I have worked on some high pressure multidisciplinary projects, utilising BIM and various other I.T skills to ensure smooth and succesful delivery of the projects.Always keen to learn more, I am currently completing my MSc in Architectural Technology and Design.
