In addition to education and communications responsibilities listed below, I was responsible for development of a new environmental education program to be hosted on a farm owned by the land trust. This included not just program development, but also municipal permitting for site plan review and a conditional use permit.

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing educational programs utilizing the properties managed by the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust. This includes primarily working with the Cape Elizabeth public school systems to develop field trip programs that enhance in-school science curricula. I also assist with community-oriented educational initiatives, such as facilitating informational posters at key properties, writing monthly newsletter entries, and helping with events.

Hosting, producing, and publishing Ecology is Everywhere, a podcast about environmental education and the places it takes us. Each episode highlights the career journey of a former educator from The Ecology School, shedding light on the ways an experience in environmental education can lead to incredible opportunities in a broad range of fields.

Hosting product tastings for New England-based beverage brand. Acting as the face of Willie's in a new sales region by encouraging and educating new customers at sales locations throughout Southern Maine.

Responsible for instructing groups of 8-15 elementary and middle school students in ecology/environmental science. I worked primarily with week-long residential programs in addition to a handful of one-day programs and classroom outreach. Responsibilities included lesson design, lesson planning, implementing 2-hr lessons in outdoor settings, and performing miscellaneous supervisory duties through all aspects of the program.

Cofounded plant-based milk company that makes it easier for food services to serve the variety of healthy, sustainable dairy alternatives their customers demand. Managed production runs of five different beverages (soy, almond, oat, coconut, and chocolate pea) in shared commercial kitchen. Developed food safety and allergy management plans to accommodate a customer base with high sensitivity to cross-contact. Helped guide business aspects from conception through two non-equity incubator programs and $60,000 of friends and family fundraising. Completed a sustainability analysis synthesizing published work on environmental impact associated with dairy products and dairy alternatives.

Coordinated and accompanied daily worship services at Lutheran summer camp in Freedom, NH. As one of the members of the leadership staff, I also served in advisory and mentor capacities to younger counselors.

Brown Formula Racing is the most competitive engineering team at Brown University. Every year the team designs, builds, tests, and races a small formula-style race car as part of the international Formula SAE competition. As a 2017 co-captain, I shared project management and chief engineer responsibilities, focusing on the electronics, aerodynamics, and carbon fiber body. I also worked with our social media and public relations teams and oversaw the driver training program.The team's greatest achievement in my time was the successful completion of all dynamic events at the 2017 FSAE Michigan competition. This marked the first time since 2012 that the team completed any racing events. Our success was driven by a team-wide push for data-driven design practices. The team finished 44th overall, including a top-10 drag race time and a top-20 design presentation score.In 2016 I created a new position on the team as Head of Analytics. In this role, I worked with all design leads on the team to coordinate and enhance data collection and analysis techniques.As 2015 aerodynamics design lead, I redesigned the carbon fiber undertray, a device that utilized the "ground effect" to generate downforce. I worked with SolidWorks CAD and Autodesk computational fluid dynamics software to design and analyze the system. I also developed "wet layup" techniques to improve manufacturing efficiency.

I worked as an undergraduate researcher in Prof. Jonathan Pober's radio astronomy lab at Brown University. My research used statistical methods to characterize one of the first sky signals detected by the Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array (HERA). My research was published on the team website as HERA Memorandum #26 (see attached). I also presented a poster at the 229th American Astronomical Society meeting in January 2017, and gave a 15-minute talk at the NASA/RI Space Grant Consortium Spring Symposium.

I worked for three semesters as a monitor at Brown University's maker space. During weekly shifts I enforced safety protocols, assisted members with personal and academic projects, taught skills sessions on workshop equipment, and provided routine maintenance for a variety of woodworking, metalworking, and rapid prototyping tools.

I worked on the broadcast team for the Ivy League Digital Network at Brown University. In total I worked on approximately 25 live sporting events, which were broadcast on streaming services, ESPN U, and ESPN 3. I worked primarily as a producer for small broadcasts, coordinating between 1-3 camera operators and commentators while manually switching camera angles and maintaining graphics.

I taught introductory physics and linear circuit analysis (PHYS 30/40 and ENGN 520) to other undergraduates at Brown University. I prepared weekly lessons and practice problems for two-hour small-group sessions, as well as providing occasional one-on-one support via email.
