As an inspiring artist with a passion for language and performance, I'm on a journey to explore the boundaries of creativity. My extensive background spans various domains, from XR-technology and poetry research to cultural policy and programming. With two decades of experience in government administrations and a decade as a manager in both private and public sectors, I bring a unique blend of skills to the table.I'm deeply engaged in the global poetry scene, actively participating in Belgian, European, and worldwide poetry communities. My work extends beyond poetry, encompassing cultural policy, programming, and public procurement expertise.One of my noteworthy contributions to the arts is my role as a guest curator and organizer of cultural festivals. I've had the privilege of curating and organizing festivals that celebrate the rich tapestry of artistic expression. Whether it's the poetry, music, circus or performance, I've been involved in shaping and bringing vibrant cultural events to life, most of them in situ. These experiences have allowed me to foster connections between artists and audiences, creating spaces where creativity flourishes.Currently, I serve as a project coordinator for the Urban Travel Machines initiative, funded by Creative Europe. I've also founded and chair the ivzw World Poetry Slam Organization aisbl, a grassroots network of poetry slam organizers worldwide.Throughout my career, I've held roles such as board secretary, manager at the City of Brussels, attaché and project manager at Iriscare, and cultural officer at Community Cultural Center Pianofabriek.My educational journey includes currently a PhD-trajectory in the Arts focused on the oral performance of visual poetry. I hold a Master's degree in Art Sciences and Archeology and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, all enriched by my background in law and languages.With a passion for teaching, I've conducted workshops and masterclasses in various countries, promoting the art of poetry and storytelling.
