Philip played a critical role in the successful implementation and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and interfaced with external auditors leading to a successful certification audit without non-conformities. As the project lead, he was responsible for setting up the project structure for the BCMS, ensuring that all stakeholders were engaged and informed, and overseeing the timely completion of project milestones.This included creating and maintaining documentation and operating the BCMS, the documentation he created was comprehensive, clear, and easily accessible to all team members and the Bank maintained conformance to the ISO 22301 standard. This documentation played a critical role in ensuring that the team was able to respond quickly and effectively in the event of an IT system failure or other crisis situationsIn addition to his documentation work, Philip was also responsible for facilitating IT failover tests conducted regularly to ensure that the BCMS was functioning as intended. Responsible for the Management of Information Technology risk, Operational Risks, Control and Governance across the bank. Key AchievementsI developed and implemented an enterprise risk management and governance framework that consisted of strategically integrated approaches for the identification, evaluation, treatment, monitoring and reporting of Information Technology (IT) Risks. I also created monthly and quarterly risk, IT performance and compliance reports which I present to the EXCO & Board level committee, dealing with all IT risk and governance issues in the Bank.
