As a member of Cooley’s elite Venture Capital & Emerging Companies’ team, my range of responsibilities meant I:- Led venture capital funds, investors, and digital start-up clients through various funding rounds as an Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate. - Negotiated issues of critical importance to start-up and investor clients including complex client, board & shareholder communications, investor and government interactions, as well as general business and legal strategy.- Worked closely with start-ups and venture capital organizations giving insightful counsel to executive management teams, assisting in resolving a wide range of monetary, employment, and other legal difficulties, including complicated business issues, competition reaction plans, customer and supplier concerns, and overseas investments.- Successfully led a group of paralegals and junior associates to ensure efficient business transactions and smooth operations, managed numerous concurrent projects as a team, establishing precise project timetables and milestones, coordinating processes, and giving important direction to business stakeholders, investors, and executive management.- Advised clients, many of whom had never-before-seen technology, navigate government interactions and regulatory regimes.

K&E’s Mergers & Acquisition team is renowned for working with the world’s leading Private Equity firms on their most prized corporate transactions. As a member of this prestigious team, I:- Successfully served elite clients in a variety of complicated M&A transactions including contested acquisitions, massively quick turn-around, acquisitions of clients with expansive multinational operations and targets with new innovative technologies. - Led a group of junior associates and paralegals through a number of high-value deals with a focus on delivering exceptional value and strategic insights, including a $3.5 billion contested take-private acquisition, a $500 million ed-tech private acquisition, and a $200 million biotech sale, among others.- Planned and carried out numerous concurrent deals, each worth over $100 million.- Developed strong written and oral communication skills through the drafting of agreements and corporate communications. My legal career began with training at the preeminent Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy team at Proskauer. Some highlights of my time at Proskauer include:- Advising the Federal Oversight and Management Board of Puerto Rico restructuring debt owed by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico totaling more than $120 billion. This landmark case stands as the largest municipal bankruptcy in the history of the United States, and I am proud to have contributed to its successful resolution.- As a part of the Puerto Rico project, leading the $4 billion court-supervised restructuring of a Puerto Rico public entity. Given my early tenure, I worked closely with a senior partner to ensure its smooth execution. Nonetheless, I engaged in comprehensive analyses of the corporation's business operations, led discussions with financial advisors, consultants, and government officials,and overall gained invaluable insights that continue to inform my decision-making process today.- Worked as Teaching Assistant to Martin Bieninstock, lecturer on Corporate Reorganizations at Harvard Law School
