Graduating from University College Dublin in 1990 with an Honours Degree in Pure Economics, he moved to Australia and enjoyed a five year spell at Coca-Cola Amatil, notably as Learning & Development Manager and then Regional Sales Manager in Perth, Western Australia.In 1997 Philip was headhunted to join Hamilton James & Bruce in Sydney to launch their Sales and Marketing services to both the FMCG/Retail and Financial Services sectors. Three years later he joined Dunhill Management Services, which was subsequently acquired by Robert Walters plc - where he worked as Director, Operations.Philip launched, with external financial backing, Charterhouse Partnership in 2003, a venture which enjoyed considerable success and saw him rewarded with a Young Businessman of the Year award in 2005. A year later, the group had offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Hong Kong. Callaways Executive was launched in February 2010 and is wholly funded and managed by Philip – with the single focus of offering and delivering a boutique recruitment service that is second to none in the Australian marketplace. In both 2011 and 2013 this focus bore fruit when Callaways won the Seek Executive Recruiter of the Year Award. BRW listed Callaways at #45 in their Top 100 Fast Starters in 2013.Omega Medical was founded in 2011 and has grown to become a leader in the recruitment of locum and permanent positions for medical professionals in Australia.A Board member of the Lansdowne Club from 2005-2020, Philip was Chairman from December 2018.Identifying the changing landscape for clinicians in the NDIS arena, Philip has partnered with Danny Burgess to create helpz, a platform that dramatically improves the conditions and remuneration for frontline Disability sector clinicians. In doing so they believe this will drive even better outcomes for NDIS participants.
