Project in cooperation with Luxembourg Institut of Science & Technology (LIST) with the main goal being the synthesis of responsive magnetic nanocomposite layers and the development of innovative magnetic nanocomposites, as well as their characterization, mainly by magnetometry and small-angle neutron scattering.

Member of the NANOMAG project, a European FP7 project with 18 partners, and which had the main goal to standardize the characterization of magnetic nanoparticles used for biomedical application. My main responsibility was the characterization of these nanoparticle samples via neutron scattering as well as the analysis of magnetization and various scattering data.

The position was part of the TISANE project, which was in collaboration with the Universität Köln and the Institut Laue Langevin (ILL, Gernoble, France), and which had the goal to implement an option for stroboscopic Neutron scattering experiments at the ILL.
