CurrentMODULAB Housing Construction GmbH is a start-up company that has been formed to implement and develop new manufacturing and assembly technologies to revolutionise the previously often costly, in efficient and slow construction and housing development industries. It is the aim to manufacture and develop in particular for building more affordable housing to overcome the shortage of over 2 million homes in Germany alone and well over 10 million in the Euro-Zone.MODULAB is implementing a unique methodology in Design and Offsite Factory Production which will take the offsite manufacturing processing the 21st century.MODULAB will be operating to a higher standard than DIN 9001 (Quality management System), DIN 14001 (Environmental Management System) and DIN 19650 (Organisation and digitisation of information about buildings and civil engineering, including building information modelling - BIM).
