As Creative Director, I am responsible for creating two collections per year, staying true to the brand‘s values and DNA and execute and oversee the complete design process from first sketches to their realisation together with a skilful team of experienced pattern-makers, artisans and seamstresses.My main tasks are divided into the following core areas:✔️Selection of collection's colours, fabrics and silhouettes✔️Creation of collection structure taking into account all price ranges as well as combination possibilities✔️Creation of detailed tech-packs including hand-sketch, technical sketch, bill of materials and workmanship✔️Leading and mentoring a skilful design team and making sure all designs meet the collection's aesthetic✔️International travel to trade shows, material sourcing and production facilities✔️Responsible for fitting decisions and production releases of models and fabrics✔️Presentation of the collection to an international sales team and customer-contact at trade fairs✔️Communication with journalists of trade-press to represent brand's values and goals✔️Setting the timeline and being responsible for meeting deadlines✔️Creative direction of photoshoots including creation of all key looks✔️Creative experience in working together with brand ambassadors such as Sharon Stone and Helena Christensen
