Raised amidst the vibrant yet restrained hues of socialist East Berlin, where the iconic Nina Hagen played a unique role in my upbringing, my childhood was anything but ordinary. My youth unfolded in the contrasting landscapes of Sweden, igniting a lifelong passion for the soothing rituals of the sauna.My academic journey in history and politics was intriguing, yet it was an opportunity from a family friend that catapulted me into the enthralling universe of film at the prestigious Filmhaus Munich. From chauffeuring pop sensation Nena to a Mon Cheri commercial shoot to an unforgettable experience with the legendary Three Tenors—Pavarotti, Domingo, and Carreras—on their farewell tour across the USA aboard a Learjet, my early career was marked by diverse and illustrious encounters. However, it was in the realms of freelance producing and commercial film production across Germany and Spain that I truly found my calling.Embracing the role of a film producer with zeal, I navigated the industry with dedication and creativity. The year 2006 marked a pivotal move to Switzerland, where I continued to hone my expertise, particularly in the advertising film sector, initially with Condor Films in Zurich, and later, starting in 2010, under the banner of Mcqueen Films, alongside my brother Clemens Petersson.Since 2017, Mcqueen Film&TV, a branch of Mcqueen Films, has been crafting original content, including short films, documentaries, and the anticipation of feature films. Today, my achievements are reflected in a collection of over one hundred fifty international awards, boasting 5 Cannes Lions, 28 ADC awards, and a recent Student Academy Award. Beyond the accolades, my heart remains tethered to my family, the thrill of travel, encapsulating a life lived with passion and purpose.
