The 'Indo-German Support Project for Climate Action in India' is the key climate policy project of the International Climate Initiative (IKI); it aims to strengthen the capacities of selected decision-makers at national and state level to develop innovative approaches for the implementation of India's National Climate Contributions (NDCs). It I) promotes a climate co-benefits approach to address untapped potentials for implementing and achieving India's NDCs, II) promotes collaboration between public and private sectors to implement demonstration projects in selected states, and III) implements the interface function for IKI projects in India to promote synergies and ensure knowledge management. In doing so, the project supports the political climate and biodiversity dialogue between Germany and India, it supports the political-strategic project and portfolio management of the federal ministries responsible for IKI and underpins the political dialogue with partner governments in both bilateral and multilateral contexts.Learn more: https://www.giz.de/en/worldwide/117085.htmlWithin my academic career, I have completed a Master's degree in International Relations at the Università di Bologna in Italy as well as a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology at the University of Mainz in Germany including one-year abroad at the University of Kent at Canterbury in England.
