In the past years I have been able to gain a lot of experience in the field ofsoftware development for automotive systems. This includes professional experience in three different countries. This started in Japan, where I contributed to automotive system development with focus on vehicle system integration, communication routines between different subsystems and sensor data analysis and processing. In Germany, I contributed within the development of complex sensor systems as a software developer. Here I was able to enrich the team supporting the development holistically with efficient code improvements, stable and accurate testing and precise code error analysis. This contribution made possible to successfully reach several project milestones leading to a successful product delivery. This did not go unnoticed as I was nominated by management to support the development of the Chinese version of the product. By using professional expertise, good communication skills and intercultural competence, I took over the task of managing the coordination and cooperation between the development teams in Europe and different locations in Asia: A tense and difficult project start was managed by including new associates and training them in various software areas, by further expanding their competence and software skills and by supporting the teams with any problems that arose among the development teams, acting as a proxy and if necessary as a mediator among them. All these enabled a successful and timely series release. Since then, I´ve been working in Germany as Team leader for the GNSS localization software area. Here I´ve increased my experience with project management and execution, with adhering to project deadlines, with dividing and distributing tasks, as well as with communicating with employees and management.
