I initially joined the Join ANZ via goMoney initiative, as a Lead Business Analyst. My main responsibility was to gather and document requirements for the ANZ goMoney app squad, and provide support across the service squads. Within months I moved in to the role of Product Owner for three squads (teams) whilst continuing to support a number of the squads as a business analyst. This role required helping to develop the incremental release of the Join ANZ via goMoney solution, and defining the scope for each of my squads (two back end service/ integration squads and one staff facing user interface squad), whilst working closely with the goMoney Product Owner and squad to help manage the dependencies required to support the delivery of each increment. I worked closely with the lead engineer, senior developers and UI designers across the services and goMoney squads to help design the API structure and state transitions between a number of internal services as well as the third party service - providing sequence diagrams, state diagrams, process maps and wiremocks to support all four squads understanding of the scope and dependencies. I also worked closely with the business change team to document and provide training and support material to manage this new initiative and onboarding of Customers.
