About Philippa (Philly) Betts

Living between Norway, Iceland and New Zealand enabled me to work as an ice Guide year-round since 2014, a role which laid the foundations for my career as a Rope Access Technician beginning in 2020. The combination of my work at height and guiding background culminated in my Antarctic season in 22/23 in a Field Support role. A highly sociable team player with a good sense of humour and can-do attitude. I can turn my hand to most tasks and think there's nothing which can't be solved with some outside-the-box thinking and a positive attitude (and probably some duct tape).
