In the main, the business focuses on the following key areas:1. HR consultancy: audits; contracts, policies and procedures; working with and training HR professionals.2. Independent investigations: grievance, disciplinary, capability, and long-term sickness. Sometimes businesses do not have the capacity or knowledge to run an investigation or, it may be the case, that the issue centres around the CEO or MD and the investigation needs running by an independent investigator. This also includes assessing the risk to the client and ensuring they are tribunal ready.3. HR support for in-house projects: for example, where process changes are required such as an IT upgrade and an HR support review needed, all help future-proof the business.4. L & D programmes for clients including: behaviour in the workplace (focussing on harassment and bullying); leadership & management; conflict resolution; recruitment & retention; performance management.6. Writing copy for organisations such as The Leaders Council, The Parliamentary Review, WoltersKluwer, CIPD, and The Management Pocketbooks series.The business owns Pop-Up Powerhours (TM) - hourly or two workshops on particular topics. The former board role included governance, working with the executive to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, strategic workforce planning including dashboards, scenarios, benchmarking; the latter role included working with the investment, administrative and actuarial advisers to ensure good governance, compliance and a robust investment plan that includes stochastic modelling.
