Philippa writes, blogs and talks about the challenges and opportunities presented by the ageing demographic. She has spoken at the Age UK and Housing LIN annual conferences, Aging 2.0 London,judged the RSA student design awards and taken part in the Age of No Retirement.The "Designing for the Future" competition with the University of Brighton and the College of Richard Collyer has been running since 2010 and work from the competition has been showcased at the Ergonomics & Human Factors Conference, Housing LIN Conference, Mobility Roadshow Design Zone,the international BSRA Science of Ageing conference and Generation Expo. Philippa is a fellow of the RSA and founder member of Eastbourne Excellence CIC which promotes Eastbourne - Designed for all.Philippa is an Oxford University educated lawyer who practised in the City of London for 20 years. She is a commercial property specialist who has been rated as “a leader in her field” in the legal directories and acted on some of the most valuable commercial property deals in the London market. Philippa has significant commercial experience, having worked at a senior level (variously as a partner, Group Head and at board level).
