March 2012 Alan Ashbee and I bought the Company Recycled Glass Products Ltd, Trading as Bottle Alley Glass from the shareholders.Bottle Alley Glass take unwanted and reject glass bottles and turn them into beautiful new glass slabs, great for Kitchen Worktops, Splashbacks, Vanities, Tiles, Lights, basicaly anything you can do with glass.The glass that we manufacture is saved from landfill, baked in a electric Kiln (using less energy than making new glass) and then fabricated into the product desired. Our glass has no addatives, no resin or colouring and as such can go back into the recycling circle once it's purpose has been completed.Fantastic for anyone looking to increase their Eco credentials or just wanted to help the planet and have a beautiful piece of art to show for it.Bottle Alley Glass is all handmade here in the UK, (Yorkshire to be presise) from bottles rejected and thrown out in the UK and then mainly used in commercial projects or private homes in the UK all saving on our carbon footprint!
