Represented by Curtis Brown, I've written for tv, radio, created apps, built and written websites, as well as publishing 13 books, with Hodder Headline, Dorling Kindersley and Piatkus Books. 'Irresistibility' became a best seller after the Times serialized it, and 'The Gritties' got made into a double Wales BAFTA award winning film. Until, sadly, I was sacked for being cheeky to the editor, I had a weekly column in the Western Mail, writing as Mrs Motivator. I write and deliver online courses for The Economist and Udemy now, and love this way of teaching - especially the interactive elements.

Voiceworks took actor training skills into business, and we quickly acquired blue chip clients like Shell, Marks & Spencer and the John Lewis Partnership. One of our core course was Voice Training For Trainers, for in-house teams. Our clients were primarily in health, retail, finance and professional services - we worked a lot in the City of London for businesses like Apax Partners, Merrill Lynch, IG Group, Lloyd's of London, Barclays, HSBC, Coutts and Nat West. Our healthcare clients included Royal Colleges of Surgeons, GPs and Nursing plus Chairs of London Health Boards.Political work included coaching Prime and cabinet ministers of both left and right wing parties, and advising on the 1997 successful Labour Party election campaign. In sport, we worked for a Premier League football manager, and head coaches and performance directors for the London 2012 Olympics.
