- Appointed to bring together strategic planning for housing, infrastructure and economy with strategic planning for people’s health and wellbeing in order to support stronger and better outcomes for communities. - The role has developed to focus on Healthy Place Shaping to tackle health inequalities, building new capabilities to support recovery including a new Green Economic Development Growth for Cotswold District Council and a review of the support for the Visitor Economy. - Providing Local Authority insight on GFirst LEP Construction and Infrastructure Business Group.- Supporting the delivery of sustainable development and opportunities for better placemaking.- Input as Senior User on a project delivery board for Oxfordshire Cotswolds Garden Village. - Chairing Forest of Dean Integrated Localities Partnership working with key partners across the health and wellbeing sector to tackle health inequalities,deliver better outcomes and promote prevention.- Working collaboratively across business areas including Planning, Development Management, Environmental Services and Housing. - Adapting and responding to change in local priorities. Seconded on part time basis from substantive role with Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council to provide interim management of Development Control team and support delivery of major projects.
