Provide critical subject matter expertise to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD (P&R)) by supporting the development of policies to help the Department to recruit, hire, and retain a diverse workforce capable of accomplishing the DoD’s national security mission.  Support the oversight of the Civilian Equal Employment Opportunity program through direct work with DoD components, collaborating with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on compliance issues, and performing data analysis of Management Directive 715 (MD-715) reports.  Write, edit, and publish different annual reports including the DoD Civilian Employee Workplace and Gender Relations Report, the No FEAR Act Report, and the 2021 - 2022 Civilian Harassment Report.  Organize and lead ongoing working groups of subject matter experts to comprehensively modernize equal employment opportunity policy for the nation’s largest government agency.  Provide staff support to meetings of high-level DoD staff, coordinate quarterly meetings of program managers and write monthly status reports tracking contract support activities.
