Responsible for designing and implementing a dedicated service offering in the area of Solid-State Research within Onyx scientific. The service was developed to assist medicinal chemistry and provide key data for the lead candidates ensuring customers to have the preferred physical form for first GMP campaigns and phase I clinical trials. The laboratory has benefited from ca. £0.6M investment in state-of-the-art research facilities. Working on a range of tasks: sample re-crystallisation (including salts and co-crystals), crystal structure determination from powder and single crystal data, polymorphism and variable-temperature phase studies of organic molecular solids.
