Manage all operations, marketing, sales and purchasing activities for the company with a team of 50+ employees and an annual purchasing budget of ~$5M. Specific responsibilities include recruitment, performance management, and negotiation/administration of product pricing and management of promotional sales.Directly handle high-profile accounts including Paintball Mirabel Inc., Impact Proshop Paintball, Bigfoot Paintball, Performance Paintball and Recon Paintball.Introduced an in-house line of paintball products under the Tactical A1 brand and also acquired exclusive rights for several major product lines. This contributed to increased profit for customers via a less expensive product option yet also secured this client base by being the sole distributor for key brands.Initiated several improvements including an item location system and an employee reorganization which increased retail sales by 25%. Also implemented internal operating procedures for inventory, shipping and new product introduction processes.Established six retail stores across Canada as well as 2 warehouses. Developed all in-store procedures to be used inorder for these locations to maintain PBL-Approved pro shop status.Launched a new website design which resulted in an online sales growth of 250% in the first year.Successfully improved profit margins by 12% as a result of product price adjustments and the reduction of logistics costs. In particular, secured a U.S.-based freight forwarder and implemented PARS with Canada Customs.
