Product expert for a full range of about 100 structural adhesives for industrial applications (general industry, aerospace, automotive, wind energy) & DIY.Management of a lab team up to 6 people (1 engineer, 5 technicians).Formulation & optimization of innovative adhesives, based among others on epoxy, polyurethane, MS or methacrylate chemistry, from product profile definition to production scale up : managed simultaneously up to 10 development projects.Selection of raw materials in compliance with targeted costs & existing or future regulations (REACH, GHS, chemical registration, EHS considerations) : development of a new epoxy adhesives range for DIY market, without environmental hazard & corrosive labeling.Performing new formulations validation in the lab : definition of the test matrix, samples preparation, full product characterization (DSC, TMA, TGA, DMA, rheology, E-modulus determination, bonding & ageing tests). Qualification of 4 new products following Germanicher Lloyd / Lloyds / UL requirements.Performing scale-up on production sites (UK, Germany, Switzerland) for new products introduction : running pilot trials, specifications build up. Development of a new range of methacrylic adhesives for general industry.Responsible for EHS compliance in my labs : MSDS management, writing of Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analysis, 5S program.Support to customers for the use of new products : technical data sheets build up, guidelines definition, contact for any technical discussion.

Formulation of reactive products for composites (infusion, RTM), tooling (rapid prototyping, casting systems, moulds manufacturing) & bonding applications.Support to customers (on site or via hot line) regarding technical issues.Training of sales force & distributors regarding automotive specific products rangeTreatment of customer complaints and corrective actions following ISO/TS 16949 requirements

Elaboration of the Quality System in compliance with the ISO/TS 16949 (2002). Certification obtained in 2003. Maintenance of the quality system & responsible for the operational quality (KPI follow up, audits – customers & suppliers, quality controls implementation, non conformity treatment – 8D, FMEA, PPAP submission,IMDS)
