I have had considerable experience in the area of Odour Management. Through this position, I have provided extensive technical expert advice and managed departmental investigations into some of the most contentious odour and air quality issues in the Perth area.I have led several projects in collaboration with various stakeholders related to odour monitoring, community engagement and the development of innovative approaches for odour assessments.Currently based in Perth but working internationally, I have accrued 20 years of experience in odour and air quality assessment in France and Australia - from monitoring, process audit, data interpretation and dispersion modelling.I have carried out numerous projects involving composting and rendering plants, abattoirs, bitumen plants, livestock facilities, landfills, chemical facilities, cement production and wastewater treatment plants. In both France and Australia, I continue to play an active role in odour policy and guidelines development. I have consulted with various stakeholders including industries, corporations and authority agencies, and my expert opinion is widely regarded by leading industry players as paramount in the field.I have been invited as keynote speaker to international conferences and numerous workshop presentations in France and Australia on odour sampling, odour policy and management.
