Philippe Baumard is a Tenured Professor, Director of the Security-Defense-Intelligence Laboratory, and co-Director of the Master Degree in Criminal Sciences at the National conservatory of arts and manufacturing (Cnam)Pr. Baumard founded Akheros SAS, an AI software laboratory laureate of the French national innovation awards in the field of APT detterence and detection. Akheros was awarded the French Presidency’s national award for innovation (CMI) for cyber-security in the field of autonomous and behavioral learning. A visiting professor at many leading schools, including Stanford University’s School of Engineering, UC Berkeley Haas and NYU Stern, Dr. Baumard pioneered works on information and cyber-warfare in the early 1990s, noticeably with his “From Info-War to Knowledge- Warfare” (AFCEA, 1996) and earlier works anticipating many pitfalls on network economies. Pr. Baumard was elected President of the Scientific Council of the High Council for Strategic Research (CSFRS). Pr. Baumard published 12 books, including Tacit knowledge in organizations (Sage), and The strategic void (CNRS, 2012) and more than 100 scholarly papers.
