• Member of the US start up project group including follow up of the US commercial agreement with Merck preparing for the launch of Gaboxadol.
• Participated in due diligence (acquisition of US biotech).
• Negotiated real estate project $20m for the US organization

• Established a Regional Headquarters (South Europe) in Rome, Italy in 2001, to strenghten citalopram/Cipramil franchise and to prepare for the launch of escitalopram/Cipralex.
• Oversaw a $180m operating budget for South Europe (700+ employees in 6 countries), Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Israel.
• Created a high performing finance team within the region to proactively challenge the business decisions, which improved regional profitability by 9% and led to better resource allocation.
• Developed a strong link between Regional Management and Corporate Headquarters in Denmark.
• Managed the commercial operations of Cyprus and Malta through agents.

• Helped the Executive Vice President to follow up on the agreed upon commercial strategy between Headquarters and the group’s affiliates (partner’s agreements, sales force strategy, price competition, generic strategy.
