WIth Sandstone, we carry out two separate yet complementary activities :- real estate : we build (or sometimes buy and renew completely) residential buildings in Brussels and surroundings, either for resell or for rent.- private equity : together with a financial partner, we invest in small caps and provide them with business development competences.We are constantly looking for investment opportunities on those two different fields.

• My first mission since 2012 was the set-up of a Finance Department for the Company, newly created by Sopra Group and resulting from the merger of 5 recently acquired entities in France, Belgium, UK and Germany. • It consisted in aligning the financial practices, adopting unique accounting schemes, building consistent revenue recognition and transfer pricing methods, deploying the Group’s information system, renewing its historical reporting tool, organizing the teams in various countries and sites and implementing the department’s governance. • In parallel, together with Sopra Group’s Legal Department, I was in charge of the simplification of the corporate structure that contained several redundancies as a result of the acquisitions.• My responsibilities covered the operational accounting (budget, forecasts, controlling, profitability follow-up), the general accounting (statutory accounts, treasury, legal reports, tax returns, project financing), and the legal matters related to corporate field. My team consisted of 35 members. As part of a listed group I was also involved in the consolidation process and the financial communication.

• From September 2010 on, and mainly in 2011, when C&W’s founders and management team decided to launch the search for new industrial and financial partners, I was part of the 3-members task force in charge of this approach, with the CEO and the Chairman. At that point, the turnover reached 80 M€ and the staff 650 people.• I worked in close cooperation with JP Morgan, appointed as merchant banker, and the lawyers White & Case. I followed up the due diligences carried out by Boston Consulting Group and Ernst & Young.• I participated in the discussions and negotiations with the candidates, especially with Sopra Group that acquired C&W in March 2012.

• Since 2008 I was CFO and member of the management committee of the Belgian software and services provider Callataÿ & Wouters until its acquisition by Sopra Group. At that point, the turnover reached 80 M€ and the staff 650 people. Beside the financial matters, my function also included the responsibility of the Legal, Internal IT and Facilities departments. • When C&W’s founders and management team decided to launch the search for new industrial and financial partners, I was part of the 3-members task force in charge of this approach, with the CEO and the Chairman.• I worked in close cooperation with JP Morgan, appointed as merchant banker, and the lawyers White & Case. • I created and developed the Sales department of Callataÿ & Wouters in the Belux home market. I was steering the sales process and I booked many successes, including those of the Record Bank, Argenta, Anhyp, Crédit Agricole, EPT (Luxembourg). • I also launched a structured Marketing and Communication activity, resulting in a strongly increased visibility of the company.• In 2002, I opened the French subsidiary followed by successes at BNPP and Banque Postale. In 2006, launch of the Dutch branch, with signatures at Rabobank and ABN Amro.• In parallel another Sales team opened markets in UK and Asia. In 2006, I took over the global Commercial Management of Callataÿ & Wouters and built a strong international S&M department.

• I joined Callataÿ & Wouters as an analyst to develop the software application for mortgage loan management at the Comptoir d’Escompte de Belgique.• As a project manager I was in charge of the new management system designed for the industrial insurance broker Boels & Bégault. • As program director I lead the implementation project of the banking software Thaler at Argenta.Spaarbank.
