As a climate change analyst, I participate in the development and review of ministerial regulations for offset credits in the Quebec carbon market, including ministerial regulations for forestry projects. I analyze offset projects submitted for credit issuance and make recommendations for these projects. I also participate in the general development of the offset component and collaborate with Quebec's international partners in this regard. I act as an expert on offset credits for internal and external clients of the Ministry, including on the role of forests in the fight against climate change. More specifically:-I conduct literature reviews to identify best practices in ministerial offset regulations; -I evaluate the GHG emission reduction and removal potential of different types of offset projects, including carbon sequestration; - I develop new ministerial regulations for offset credits, including project eligibility and monitoring requirements, and methods for quantifying GHG emission reductions or removals; - I develop and revise various tools for the management of the offset credit component, including forms, templates, procedures and technical guides; -I analyze and make recommendations on offset credit applications submitted by Project Proponents, including the analysis of project reports and verification reports prepared by accredited verification bodies.

In my mandate, I am involved in various tasks. The main one is to participate in the development and implementation of a financial support program for drinking water source protection, including the development of normative documents and assessment tools. Other related tasks include:-Producing, reviewing and coordinating the development of guidance documents, technical guides and other tools to improve the protection of drinking water supplies, both groundwater and surface water;-Analyzing drinking water source vulnerability analysis reports submitted to the Ministry -Collaborating in the revision of the regulatory framework applicable to the characterization of drinking water supply sources; -Developing information documents related to the program in place; -Representing the Directorate in committees and at events such as conferences.

As an urban forestry and education project manager, my various tasks are: - Participating in the organization's educational activities in schools (primary and secondary); - Coordinating the organization's tree planting program and developing new partnerships; - Developing and leading forestry-related tourist visits; - Participating in the organization, promotion and animation of various public and school events; - Coordinating and participating in the development of natural environments; - Participating in the development of projects and the submission of applications for financial assistance; - Participating in the filing and cleaning of the organization's files; - Promoting the organization's products and services; - Assisting management in administrative tasks and in the smooth running of the organization.

As an Outreach Agent, my main mandate is to educate different people on basic concepts related to the reduction of the ecological footprint and the management of residual materials. This mandate is achieved by: - Accounting for greenhouse gas emissions emitted by participants and organizers of different events (2014 International Cooperative Summit, 71st annual convention of the Association des constructeurs de routes et grands travaux du Québec); - Raising awareness among participants about the impacts of the different means of transportation used; - Raising awareness among the general public about waste management at different events (Quebec National Holiday).

As a Katimavik eco-intern with the CRE-Capitale-Nationale, my main mandate was to carry out a regional portrait of wetlands in stewardship. To achieve this mandate, I carried out the following activities:- Participating in the project start-up meeting that brings together the various partners; - Creating a database and spatializing the wetlands in stewardship.In addition, other related tasks were added to my main mandate:- Participating in a brook trout habitat rehabilitation project - Collecting field data to monitor the spread of invasive alien plants; - Participating in the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency's public consultation process on the Port of Quebec expansion project.

As Project Officer - Energy, my main task is to prepare the files for Nature Québec's participation in the National Energy Board (NEB) hearings for the Energy East project. More specifically, the activities of this mandate were to : - Learning about the procedures and timelines for participating in the NEB hearings; - Reviewing the content of the TransCanada report submitted to the NEB; - Documenting the subjects on which Nature Québec will intervene during the NEB hearings;- Participating in the working meetings with the partners/experts;- Redacting the documents that will be submitted to the NEB.In addition, various related tasks were added to my main mandate:- Redacting popular science articles and outreach tools;- Preparing and reviewing progress reports.

As a project manager, my main task was to coordinate a lake squad, consisting of two students. This task included the following activities: - Supervizing two students in the activities of the lake squad (characterization of riparian strips, demonstration days, etc.); - Organizing meetings with lake associations; - Supporting the lake associations in achieving their objectives in maintaining the integrity of their lake; - Putting together a forum on lake health. In addition, various related tasks were added to my main mandate, including:- the realization of awareness projects in elementary schools; - the realization of grant applications in collaboration with my colleagues.

As an intern, my main mandate was to write fact sheets on lake restoration technologies to be published on the Ministry's website. To carry out this mandate, I carried out the following activities;- Searching in the literature, in communications and in reports, the relevant information on different lake restoration technologies (floating islands, Phoslock, filtering marshes, iron chloride) and making a synthesis of these; - Communicating with different stakeholders to obtain information on ongoing pilot projects of lake restoration technologies. In addition, I was asked to present the summary sheets and some recommendations at the annual meeting of the Quebec watershed organizations (ROBVQ).

As part of my Master's degree in International Ecology, I completed an internship in Guatemala, with the goal of gaining field experience in a Spanish-speaking country with different ways of doing things than what I was familiar with until now. During this internship, I carried out the following activities:- Establishing a diagnosis of human activities affecting the conservation of the cloud forest, in order to promote the creation of a protected area;- Using participatory methodology in the Mayan communities studied; - Writing a scientific report exposing the results of the project, as well as proposing recommendations for the conservation of the cloud forest.

As a lake protection officer, I had to tour four lakes located on the territory of the City of Rouyn-Noranda and perform the following activities:- Inspecting the septic installations of the residents to ensure compliance with the regulation Q2, r.22;- Characterizing the riparian strips.In addition, I participated in the realization of a global portrait of village in the framework of the development plan of the MRC.

As a recruiter for the Coopérative de consommation responsable de l'Estrie, I went door-to-door in several neighborhoods of the city of Sherbrooke. More specifically, I had to: - Inform people about the mission of the organization as well as environmental issues;- Recruit new members;- Collect donations to finance the activities of the cooperative. In addition, I had to train new recruiters on two occasions. I accompanied them during their first outings to teach them the good practices to adopt during recruitment.

As an biologist intern, I was assigned several tasks. My main mandate was to perform lethal and sublethal toxicity tests on juvenile rainbow trout as well as on daphnids, in order to evaluate the toxicity of effluents from various industries. In addition, I had to: -Dissect aquatic organisms and weigh certain vital organs (gonads, liver) -Participate in environmental effects monitoring (EEM) studies (scientific fishing, sample collection). The purpose of these studies was to verify the quality of the waterways after the closure of nearby mining sites.
