Vice President Business Development, Power Group
Led strategy projects across the Power Group (power generation and engines) to innovate products and mitigate business risk from technology advances and market disruptions related to the emergence of clean technologies. Reported to Group President. Led the strategy work for Renewables and Energy Storage from ground zero to identify the risks and opportunities for each technology (solar, wind, storage, electrification) and their impact on each market segment, making recommendations for priorities and strategic choices:o For power generation systems: grid-connected and remote microgrids, both for Diesel and gas product portfolio.o For off-highway applications, due to the emergence of on-highway hybrid, electric and LNG powertrains: delivered recommendations for applications and technology focus. Directly supported a consulting firm in an 8-month deep-dive project, leading to:o The restructure and consolidation of Power Systems business into one global entity with functional organization.o The identification and prioritization of focus for critical industry segments, including datacenter, mining and residential.
