For the advanced standards, like DVB-SH and DVB-T2, there was no channel simulator ready on the market (R&S was not yet available), we designed a full real time RF simulator to emulate the signal propagation for these new waveforms.To validate performances of these receivers, we developped a full automatic testbench which controle the generation, the channel simulation and the receiver parts.Today, some of these technologies are used in professionnal digital video link of TeamCast. I was in charge of the picture processing (from the CCD output to the JPEG process input).It was the first real time digital camera, in the world !It was a famous succes for us.Imagine, with some VHDL lines, we designed a real time JPEG compression.At the beginning of my carrier in Philips, I worked on the Play Station I of Sony.
