    I work on formalizing knowledge about reservoir characterization within an international consortium (RESQML).My role is to participate to the development of this knowledge representation on the specification part. I order to achieve that goal, I am in charge of implementing the RESQML last version into an I/O plugin within an in-house Total software. I must compare the RESQML datamodel with the in-house datamodel during this I/O operation. I finally provide to Total an explanation of the differences and which are advantages and drawbacks of each datamodel.

    My work was about providing a tool which would be able to automatically interpret a 3D seismic image.The selected approach was the cognitive vision from the ORION TEAM (INRIA Sophia Antipolis).A first prototype was achieved at the end of my work allowing a basic interpretation of the most common geological elements (horiozon and faults). One patent, two proceedings and 1 PhD thesis explain this work.
