The digital transformation is impacting the demand on IT in the healthcare industry heavily.The time is over that customers just buy solutions through the storage department.There are new buyers in the line of business/departments that have budget to buy solutions that solve their challenges. Digitization is a key change in the healthcare segment. Patient care, mobile apps, teamwork between doctors, new high resolution systems AI, CI, etc. drive growth. Collaboration on data, availability of data anywhere at any time, real time access and analytic's .... and many more factors are driving a huge change in the way of treating and storing data. We've been storing healthcare data for ages, now we realize that storing this data in an effective way it becomes information helping clinicians making faster and more accurate decisions.As the Innovation Manager for EMEA I'm covering the solution set related to the healthcare market, although there are touches with insurance, pharmaceuticals, population planning... as these all look into healthcare data for their business as well.An understanding the future requirements of our customers by talking to the innovation teams at the customers, The trends/demands from digitization in the market to come up with own ideas/concepts (act, don’t react)- Focus on EMEA and Global ISV's in the clinical space (EMR, PACS, IoT, VNA, ... ) on solutions and joint messaging.- Understand Netapp's portfolio and roadmap and how this can be used to respond to the demands in the healthcare market (eg software defined offerings etc.)- Understand Netapp's partners (technology/solution/channel/SP) solutions and combine them in a clever way to lead and drive innovation- Be the advocate on the Data Fabric concept in healthcare and how this is leveraged to drive data management strategies in the new IT model- Work with the local teams covering those customers, be the change/innovation agent to build the platform for future revenue and relevance.

- Be available as the Healthcare technical/commercial expert in EMEA, supporting the Healthcare BDM and field organization.- Work closely with the major PACS, EMR, HIS, Analytics, Iot ,…. vendors on linking the technical value of the NetApp solutions. - Handle relations and partnerships with heathcare alliances and ISV' like AGFA, GE, EPIC, Sectra, ….- Participate and contribute to WWW expert team calls and meetings.- Lead and participate in virtual teams on regional and global initiatives.- Present, integrate and demonstrate all NetApp products, technologies, solutions, as well as partner solutions, discuss general business value, and provide consultative selling approach at the customer on all levels.- Present and evangelize the NetApp value and vision at events and seminars.- As part of the EMEA Technical Enablement team, act as the subject matter expert for Cloud solutions and Object Based solutions. Giving regular field workshops and updates.- Support marketing on EMEA trade shows (Vmware, TechEd, Cisco Live,..)- Executive speaker at the EMEA EBC in Amsterdam- Strong focus on emerging markets (Middle-East, Africa)

EMEA Contributor of the year FY2011Provide primarily pre-sales technical account management for the sales organization in the top accounts. Making a proper follow-up on technical questions and act as the focal point for customer evaluations and demos. Responsible for Virtualization technology (Vmware VSphere - ViewI, Xen, Hyper-V…), and act as the regional specialist. Presenting at regional events and work closely with technology partners. Organizing and presenting technology updates on San and Virtualization for Channel partners and customers. Driving Netapp storage business in Virtual Desktop environments.

Installing and configuring Dell high end server, networking and Dell-EMC storage products all over EMEA region. (90% of the time is used to install SAN solutions)
