Sequel is the sole licensee of the global Guess business for watches, one of the leading fashion (watch) brands, running the global Guess Watch and Gc Swiss Made business, owned by the Timex Group. Sequel designs, develop, produces GUESS watches with its own production facilities in China and Switzerland, Brand Management in Hong Kong, Paris and New York, own distribution markets in the US, Canada, China, Italy and the UK, headquartered in Zug (Switzerland) and Norwalk (Connecticut). Products are sold in 130 countries through 60 distribution partners and own subsidiary companies. • As COO/CFO member of the Executive Management Team reporting to the CEO of the Group, • COO responsibilities included supply chain, production, strategic planning, IT and any operations globally plus SEQUEL’s Off-Price business.• Production and supply chain included the manufacturing in Shenzhen (China), any interaction with 3rd party suppliers globally including technology partners. • Also responsible for operations in the subsidiary companies in France, Hong Kong, US, Canada and the UK• In addition, see below for CFO responsibilities

Kofax was the leading wholesaler of scanners and provider of data capture solutions. The group made some £160m revenue with some 60 entities worldwide, 1’200 people and was listed at the London Stock Exchange (LSE/AIM) before being acquired by Lexmark recently. My main responsibilities were the following (globally):• Leading a team of 3 direct reports (plus dotted line from 3 regional CFOs for Americas, EMEA and Asia), reporting to the CFO of the Group• Managing internal and external financial reporting and closing process of the Group including consolidation of legal and management accounts• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, i.e. Financial Reporting Counsel (LSE’s regulatory board), banks, auditors• Full responsibility over Annual Report and accounting standards according to IFRS (incl. world-wide audit), FRC for Corporate Governance and US GAAP for revenue recognition, reported to the stock exchange • Managing corporate taxes, (transfer pricing, tax planning, reporting and compliance), treasury and currency exposure• Project Management/ Leading several (sub-)projects:• Legal Restructuring (tax structure) - design and implementation of a new corporate structure • ICS – Implementation of standard guidelines and processes (i.e. sales guidelines, authorization matrix)

As “Head Corporate Accounting” managing the global Group Finance Team of 3 people. Leading the group’s monthly closing and reporting process. Also advising group companies in financial matters and setting up the group accounting policies. Reporting to the group CFO. In addition, also leading the accounting of the Swiss entities

Audit (especially IFRS clients, group audits in the commodity business) and consulting in accounting (IFRS introduction, US-GAAP/ SOX work, accounting manuals and other technical issues) as well as due diligence work.
